Lowering the Property Values on the South side and Shorewood

I had a very busy morning.  Nothing eventful by any means but plenty of places to go.  I had stopped at my neighborhood Pick N' Save to get the queen her litter for the next 2 weeks.  Figure a truck load.  Anyway, I noticed about 4 or 5 clerks wearing masks.  Not my business to ask why anyone does but I'm like why all of a sudden are they doing that?  A couple of them have a Nobody is going to tell me to get a vaccine attitude.  I thought good reason to get in and get away quickly.

I had an appointment at Walgreens in my old neighborhood.  It's sort of in the area.  I did a lot of shopping in that area when I lived in Bay View.  I had gotten a call about getting the pneumonia vaccine last week.  I didn't remember ever getting one and I said ok.  I made a week out in advance to make sure my insurance covered it which it did.  Never know with the ways thing are in crazy town.

There was a line when I got there.  No line for vaccines so I just stayed in line until it was my turn.  I just played a video game while I waited and I could hear a woman ranting and raving about how the line is long, blah, blah.  I wasn't thrilled either, but I thought it is what it is.  She went on about the help they hire and that kind of pissed me off.  I thought shut up please.  When she heard I was getting a vaccine, she said oh, it'll take about 3 hours.  Sigh.  I was happy to take a seat and let the troll move closer to the counter.  She happened to be coughing on top of it.  She just looked like an unpleasant person.

After my vaccine, I started having Oh damn it moments.  The first up was when I hit the post office in Shorewood. I realized I had gotten a vaccine back in March at Walmart. There were two of them.  I don't know which one it was but I think it was the pneumonia vaccine.  Damn it damn it.

I mailed my package to Corinne for Christmas and I realized I forgot to include her cat's name on the card.  It sounds silly to forget a cat when I remember the dogs but it was an Oh, damn it again moment.

I thought I could pick up the air fryer for my mom this morning at Kohls but it looked like I needed her to come with me to show her ID so we went this afternoon. I would have been fine with the email.  Oh damn it.

I am overwhelmed and I hate how forgetful I've become.  What would I like to do when I have time off?  Look for the rest of my memory.

My misadventures at Walgreens didn't make me miss my old neighborhood.  The people at Walgreens were incredibly nice.  I'm sure it sounds crazy why I drive across town to mail a package.  Well, I have had my share of packages lost and I don't need them lost, especially not for Corinne.  I also mailed my mom's homestead credit form to our previous landlord to get him to fill out part of it out.

Damn it.  I got that right.  I hope.
