The Resistance Effort

I think I needed more of these days like 30 years ago.  I did flunk in the no buying department but it was a necessity. I forgot Precious was low on dry cat food and the stuff she had sucked.  It didn't make sense to have her wait a day to prove a point I wasn't really sure will work?  I'm still not sure if I understand it.  As long as it doesn't involve me getting arrested, I can do this type of resistance.  Other than that, I was good.  

Buying a kid's book at an independent book seller is ok as being part of the resistance. I never thought of Boswell books to buy a book for Charlotte.  I asked a book seller for help in picking out a book.  It's a book about Clarence the Bear and he's an accidental activist who saves the Earth.  I'm not trying to get Charlotte to become a junior RBG, I explained to the woman that she loves to read.  She loves kitty cats.  She loves science stuff and the planets like learning more about the earth.  It just looked like a fun book for an Easter gift.  I wanted to support my local book store. I felt good about it. I hope she likes it.   She loves to read like everyone else in our family.

So disgusted about Zelensky getting ganged up by the two bullies.  I turned off the video when I got that alert.  I got an email notification and I thought Vance?  Where has he been?  Ashley Furniture?  You don't hear much about him.  I would like to keep it that way.  He's just as gross. 

I don't know what's going on with the monster and his girlfriend.  They were gone for awhile but I don't seem to see the signs of moving.  The car is gone and I know she's home.  I can't imagine him doing any heavy lifting.  I just want them gone.  If there's a U Haul truck here tomorrow, that would be beautiful.  If they did buy a house, it might be a little longer and that would suck?  At least I know there is an end in sight.  

I got an early appointment to get my eyebrows waxed.  I don't know why I do the 8 am.  Nothing says punish me on a Saturday like getting hot wax ripped off of your face.  Oh well.  Good for another six weeks.  I do have a nice arch!

The Dark Things

I sometimes wonder about this when I'm in a brooding mood about how I got treated at a low time in my life.  Or lowest. We took a drive to see a place in Bay View. I was kind of familiar with the address, but I wasn't sure. I found it.  It was not great. According to my Ring alerts, it's near an area with crime.  It was in our price range. I just can't seem to shake this funk I'm in.

Know Who You Are

 I am struggling a bit with a new work assignment. I've bounced around to working with new groups since the pandemic and it's been alright, but it's been a little difficult with balancing when I just feel off with how much I"m doing.  I have my mojo somedays and somedays I don't know why I gout out of bed.  Today was that day. I got shamed by a mistake.  It wasn't that the person called me, they copied a few people to let me know I. AM. STUPID.  And no, I don't take it personal. It comes with the territory when it comes to the work that I do.  I like being behind the scenes and assisting but it seems to be that my kind can feel the wrath of when things go wrong.  Or sometimes all that we juggle is not enough.  We are the recipient of a bad day if someone has a fight with a spouse or a child and get told, it's better it happened to you than their family member.  Lucky me.
