Fifteen Days and I'm Still Counting
I missed the monster cleaning off his girlfriend's car last night. Damn. Last year, after I spent like 2 hours trying to clean up the snow behind the garage so I could get the car out, I had trouble getting the garage door closed. My neighbor helped me but when I sent the video to my landlord, he told me that I missed some snow. I was so mad. I think he meant it as being helpful but I thought why am I doing this? Why isn't his downstairs person who's 25 years younger than me out there? This is insane. I thought I need a break. I would go back out later.
Then my mom noticed the monster was outside with a shovel. He was trying to clean off his car that he had and his girlfriend's car. We suspected maybe the landlord had called and asked why wasn't he shoveling? He acted helpless with his shovel and was kicking snow in the street. It's so bizarre to us that this guy was so out there the first time we had snow after he moved in and worked like crazy to get it done. After that, it was forget it. He had his first girlfriend out there with a shovel after I started doing it the next winter. I knew he wasn't going to do anything so we wound up buying salt and tried to figure it out the best we could on our own.
We picked living in an upper so we didn't have to do the snow removal. We were stuck with it all the time in Bay View. We had younger tenants that lived upstairs and would always pretend that they didn't see us while we shoveled. I would get up at 5 am, put my winter coat on over my pajamas and work on it after my mom would be out at midnight shoveling. We are too old to be doing snow shoveling when there are people younger than us who can do it.
I am hoping I can at least go to the store today and get a few things. I'll see what it looks like this morning when I take the litter out and see how it looks by the garage. I think it was the landlord from the way they shoveled. If it was the monster? I might have to do some shoveling at lunch time.
Fifteen days. I realize they may not get out then, but something has to happen in 15 days. Hopefully it's not my mom taking a shovel of dog poop and throwing it at his face. If so, I'll have to video tape it for my sister.
Have a good day good humans. Stay away from the monsters.
