Allergy Blues

I realize the weather may have something to do with my sneezing and slight cough.  I'm still a little congested and I got sleep but it wasn't great. I got up a few times and I couldn't go back to sleep the last time for a bit.  We'll see how the day goes.  I feel ok, not great. 

And he's home.  I suspect it's another work from home day.  I so badly want him to leave this weekend.  It was a foul smell that was going on in the hallway.  It would really be nice if the hallway didn't smell like anything. After the teens left and the monster and his first girlfriend moved in, it smelled like candles. I didn't realize it was to cover up the scent of weed.

It helped using the air purifier last night.  I know how that goes.  I start off feeling ok and then by the two, I'm sneezing like 5 times in a row.  

I can't really afford to go see a doctor right now if I am getting sick.  I can but damn it.  I'm maybe a month away from getting money in where I have a cushion to fall back on for awhile.  Hopefully longer than awhile.  It's $25 copay and then the prescriptions and why?  Because we live in an old duplex and the house has weed smoke in it.  I'm probably getting a contact high.  

We've actually had five years of people who smoked who lived downstairs.  It seems like each year I wind up with a sinus infection.  I liked the first tenant who moved in after our landlord moved out.  She only lived there a year but I knew she smoked.  My mom swore she probably did it outside. I said that's doubtful but it didn't make me dislike her. I just thought between her and the weed smokers, if someone puts in your lease, no smoking, why are you smoking?  

I can see the monster telling a prospective landlord that he doesn't have any pets and he brings those two dogs with him.  He's that big of a liar.  

I did take off or requested the last day off in February. I would love it if they moved this weekend but I have a feeling they haven't found a place yet.  I just want to see that Uhaul truck while I pop the popcorn and watch the monster actually do work.

I sometimes wonder about this when I'm in a brooding mood about how I got treated at a low time in my life.  Or lowest. Blue Evening

We took a drive to see a place in Bay View. I was kind of familiar with the address, but I wasn't sure. I found it.  It was not great. According to my Ring alerts, it's near an area with crime.  It was in our price range. I just can't seem to shake this funk I'm in.

Know Who You Are

 I am struggling a bit with a new work assignment. I've bounced around to working with new groups since the pandemic and it's been alright, but it's been a little difficult with balancing when I just feel off with how much I"m doing.  I have my mojo somedays and somedays I don't know why I gout out of bed.  Today was that day. I got shamed by a mistake.  It wasn't that the person called me, they copied a few people to let me know I. AM. STUPID.  And no, I don't take it personal. It comes with the territory when it comes to the work that I do.  I like being behind the scenes and assisting but it seems to be that my kind can feel the wrath of when things go wrong.  Or sometimes all that we juggle is not enough.  We are the recipient of a bad day if someone has a fight with a spouse or a child and get told, it's better it happened to you than their family member.  Lucky me.
