What a Bad Week - Almost

People suck but we knew that.  

I ended my day going through my emails and trying to make sense out of the madness when I discovered a comment that the lurker's friend made about something I did.  Sigh. Here we go again.  I took a screen shot and saved it.  I have had it with the mean girl garbage.  I did say something when I got asked about some things that had been going on.  

No reason to act like that.  It's disrespectful and just rude.  I am growing very weary of it and I've tried my best.  I have.  Oh well.  Next week 2 days off and the week after 3 days off.  Everyone else can buzz off.

I did tell someone to buzz off on Threads. I made a comment that was meant to be funny about Trump holding the Bible and watching it going up in flames when he touches it.  Someone made a comment to me that made zero sense and told me to quit fantasizing.  They weren't a Republican or Maga person. They were an atheist and looked really rude.  I told them to buzz off and don't talk to me like that.  Yes, I said buzz off.  I did want to say the other thing but I got to refrain somewhat.  

We had snow and of course the idiot downstairs won't shovel.  There is ice that's forming.  I texted the landlord who said he would call him.  The monster that is.  He's been home most of the week and his door smells like weed. I hope he's not working from home.  I doubt that he will shovel.  It's supposed to be 21 degrees tomorrow.  I hate that guy.  Have I said that lately?

We didn't have the news on yesterday.  The whole budget thing made us sick.  It seems to be that they do this all the time with the last minute crap.  I looked online to see people calling Elon, President Musk.  That won't make someone happy.  It made me laugh.  Sometimes the internet can be hilarious.

One really good thing happened this week. I got a very nice Christmas card from my niece and Charlotte.  And school pictures!  I want one sitting by my desk.  My little buddy.  I sent her a snow video.  She wants to play in the snow but she doesn't want to experience the cold.  Yeah.  Me neither kiddo.  That has been a bright spot this week.

The rest of the week?  Meh.  Nice to work on a Monday and take two days off.  At least the lurker's sidekick will be gone.  Buh bye.  

People.  Meh?

I sometimes wonder about this when I'm in a brooding mood about how I got treated at a low time in my life.  Or lowest. We took a drive to see a place in Bay View. I was kind of familiar with the address, but I wasn't sure. I found it.  It was not great. According to my Ring alerts, it's near an area with crime.  It was in our price range. I just can't seem to shake this funk I'm in.

Know Who You Are

 I am struggling a bit with a new work assignment. I've bounced around to working with new groups since the pandemic and it's been alright, but it's been a little difficult with balancing when I just feel off with how much I"m doing.  I have my mojo somedays and somedays I don't know why I gout out of bed.  Today was that day. I got shamed by a mistake.  It wasn't that the person called me, they copied a few people to let me know I. AM. STUPID.  And no, I don't take it personal. It comes with the territory when it comes to the work that I do.  I like being behind the scenes and assisting but it seems to be that my kind can feel the wrath of when things go wrong.  Or sometimes all that we juggle is not enough.  We are the recipient of a bad day if someone has a fight with a spouse or a child and get told, it's better it happened to you than their family member.  Lucky me.
