Nope. No early gift Monster back

 That was really wishful thinking, I guess.  Glad I didn't wake my mom up and tell her or she'd punch me.  I'm joking. She might feel like it thought and I wouldn't blame her.  He came back before I left for the morning.  She came back later.  She probably had to work this morning.  He probably had to meet his drug dealer.  This is why I need to get out of the house.

It was probably not a good day for a walk and I really didn't get one in. I tried but I'd get one block that was clear of ice and then not so great on another block so I turned around.  I made my rounds to do Shopkick, bought a couple of things needed for the house and came home.  It was just nice to get away from the weed smell.  I got to listen to my Audible book so that helps my mood. I had throw out salt from our house to the garage so my mom could walk safely.  Bad enough she has trouble seeing.  We don't need her to hit an ice patch.  I can't stand that guy downstairs.  My mom wondered if Byron shoveled our side of the garage.  It didn't occur to me until after I saw him.  Yeah.  I think it was Byron.  He's a good neighbor.  One good person in this neighborhood.  My mom wanted me to send pictures of the ice by the side of the house and I said I will but not sending it to the landlord.  Saving it for when he does his inspection.  Not sure if he was in a great mood when I texted him and I don't want to rock the boat even though I do have every right.  This monster is a menace.

We got some groceries from Aldis with the really nice gift card my niece got us.  Thank you.  Oh my god, she's a sweetheart.  I felt guilty that she thought we were hurting because of the check being stolen.  Well, I think she just wanted to do something nice. I didn't expect anything.  We will do something for her and her husband and I got an idea to do something for when I can find a nice picture frame.  She had a picture frame of my dad in her office at work and I thought maybe she needs another one.  I didn't think he had such an affect on her because she was maybe 9 years old or not quite?  He passed away before I turned 30 and she turned 9 because her birthday is a few weeks after mine.  I know it was crushing for her back then.  He would be proud of what a good mom and good person she's become.  He'd definitely get a kick out of Charlotte. 

My mom found all these movies she would like to watch during the daytime and asked me if I could play them out in the living room during the day.  Absolutely!  I said I'm used to noise in the background and NO I don't want the office noise, but I kind of like the TV on.  It's like I got a friend and NO I don't want to hear about the loony orange man 24/7.  We can watch Nicole Wallace's or listen the next day.  I don't mind.  I told her to put it on My List and I'll be able to help her find it when she wants to watch it.  That makes me happy to hear that.  I've always told her to watch what she wants to watch but she said because of her eyes it wasn't easy but she said she can watch on the couch.

I would like her to have better vision and I would like us to have a better place to live.  I feel doubtful about both, I'm afraid.  I actually feel more confident that we can keep the vision stable. I got her more eye vitamins from Amazon.  I'll keep her in eye vitamins if it helps her out.  

I do see some streaks of grey peeking in from my hair retouch.  It's ok.  I may do it one more time and get it colored in March, maybe.  

I dread the weather tomorrow. I would like to go to the store one more time until the holiday is done but it looks more ice.  Super.  I'm sure you know who will put salt out.  Ugh.

At least I'm too tired for the Sunday scaries.
