Budget Girl Summer

I did get my walk in today and walked to Walgreens on 60th and Greenfield and yep, someone tried to hustle me for money.  I'm sorry if the woman needs money.  I apologized and went in.  It seems like she got someone when I walked out.  I bought a small bag of Swedish fish for me and mom and put it in my purse.  I don't carry any paper money with me and anyone would get sad using my credit card.

Yeah, I kind of miss getting out first thing in the morning and taking off for the money after a long week.  I can still do it if I'm that anxious but I'm not.  Weird how something like being able to take a drive seems like a luxury at the moment.  I just don't want to drive my car that much.  My neighbor across the alley stopped us when we were leaving for Aldi's and asked me what happened. I said remember when I joked about hitting by the semi last week?  I wasn't joking.  He works on cars and his wife had a smaller car that got hit.  He got rid of it.  He understood and said I'll be doing a lot of waiting around for people to figure out what they're going to do and how this is all going to work out. I was happy to read that Enterprise would help me get to the body shop and back when all is said and done in the process. My mom thought maybe my sister or brother inlaw can take me out to the body shop when it's time to get it fixed and to Enterprise.  I don't know how long it will take, so I felt panicked about what happens when it's done.  What a sucky way for them to spend a vacation. I got to pull my act together and get out of my funk.  I need to watch some funny shows.  Or watch Joe's speech in North Carolina.  You got this Joe.

I did do a text bank for Arizona with Field Team 6.  I figured easy way to help democracy.  I was hoping to get to 1000 texts.  They ran out after I hit 400.  Wow.  I hope this is a good sign.  I heard that donations have gone up as well.  Jamie Harrison is on Al Sharpton's show and they raised $27 million.  Keep the faith, I guess.

I told my mom we could fight crime with our super powers.  She flew across a basement floor and fell.  I got smacked by a semi.  Sigh.  I think I want to hide in the house after this.  I'll get out of this funk.  I'll fall back but I got to see the cartoon birds again.
