That's a Wrap

Take a deep breath.  The work week is done.  I felt a sense of annoyance when I signed off.

No sign of the lurker.  I got a feeling we got another 2 weeks before we hear what's what on that subject.  Meanwhile the other members of the group?  Ugh. 

I got asked to assist the Thinker the last few minutes of my day.  I did pick up a few things and I was aware of her situation because she kept putting it out there in our chat.  Someone flat out said I'm not comfortable with that.  I thought that's bold and really insulting.  Not surprised.  They wondered why I broke down in tears at the end of the year.  I thought the majority of you don't help me.  The majority of you stress me out because you don't help and I don't feel supported.  Most of you just let me down.  Every day.  It's ok if I help you or take on the challenges but I don't get the same energy back.  .

Then there's the diva.  Wants to tell everyone including me what to do but doesn't want to help others.  I saw this overly dramatic message from the night before about a family member's death.  I thought how sad.  Maybe it's years of having Frick and her bag of excuses, I did take a look at Tik Tok.  It really didn't seem like she was in mourning with her dance videos. I could be wrong but you get a day off for a family tragedy and you're making videos?  Tacky.  

For some strange reason, we seemed to have lost the remote to the living room TV. I ordered a back up one from Amazon.  We tried.  I normally write my postcards on this big table and I have the remote sitting out on the table for my mom when I get done.  She usually takes the table down.  This morning she asked me if I knew where the remote was.  It's been a day long mystery.  We thought we'd torture ourselves by watching the news on the computer.

So Kristi Noem got fired.  Well good.  Does Markwayne Mullin know that he has to have sex with Corey Lewandowski?  Bad joke.  What a joke Kristi Noem is.  She's a horrible person with her fake cowboy hate.  I asked Corinne if Markwayne Mullin was the moron who tried to start a fight with someone on the senate floor.

Yep.  It was him.  Cool.  Trying to fight a teamsters dude and Bernie Sanders of all people was trying to break up the fight.

It's been a week.  Glad the work part is over.  Ready for the weekend even if it rains.

 I crashed before Reverend Raphael Warnock's speech.  The power of DVR saved me. I watched it this morning right up to the point where I had to sign in.  It was fantastic.   Hillary was great.  My mom was crying.  It meant a lot to her to have Hillary win that election and she was crushed. The Dark Things

I sometimes wonder about this when I'm in a brooding mood about how I got treated at a low time in my life.  Or lowest. Would people have been relieved if I just died?   Really.  I have thought the answer was yes.  I'm not talking about my family. I am talking about those who made their discomfort known to me.   They could have had some fake ceremony and a moment of silence.  There wouldn't have been a funeral so they could have forgotten about that part.  They would have excelled at pretending to care about my life if I wasn't here. Then, I had to go do something stupid and survive.  How do we deal with that?  My mentor even mentioned to me, well, you know, none of us have dealt with someone being sick.  Oh, should I get a fucking manual for that?  Excuse the F bomb but that was warranted. So Here's the Weekend

 I was having a wishful thinking moment last night when I was writing my postcards.  I was wishing for my imaginary friend that has shades of Stephen Colbert mixed in to show up and go for a walk on this humid July night.  We would talk and maybe check out the food trucks that were at the Farmer's Market last night.  Maybe they would be ok.  Maybe they wouldn't.  We would be getting out of the house and just talking about how our week went for both of us. Maybe we would stop at Pick n' Save and get my mom something she asked for.  He would always know how to talk to my mom and he would be someone she's really comfortable around like Charlie.  We would maybe see Charlie mowing the lawn on his usual Friday night task and talk to him.
