Monday Shellacking

I have a feeling I'll be getting shellacked with emails from being off the grid for 3 days.  So be it. I have a Friday off in a couple of weeks.  Hopefully things won't look so bad by then.  I hope.  Here's hoping there was no interference from the lurker or Regina.  They can buzz off.  

Yeah, I did take a look and see what the diva was doing on her unexpected week off.  Going for ice coffee, pilates and commenting that she likes the nice things in life - good food, travel and being bent over a balcony.  People are morons on social media.  Most people wouldn't want to do any social media after going through a hardship.  I certainly didn't want to post Oh, look at me I have cancer but I'll be going to Starbucks.  Social media has made people more narcissistic.  

I see the democrats who voted on forwarding the bill back to the house.  I get it and still disappointed.  People are going without paychecks and snap is in limbo for a lot.  This also means that a certain file should be release once the latest congresswoman is sworn in.  I saw that another band of criminals got pardoned including Rudy Giuliani who will make a statement.  Well you know what Rudy?  You're an idiot and nobody cares, you old fool.  Go away. 

My mom went to a second food pantry last week and I said I would come back in an hour and pick her up.  Well I did and I think she missed me.  I waited and waited and then I saw her on the Ring camera go into our place.  She was furious with me.  I apologized.  I don't know what happened and she calmed down a bit.  Years of my dad forgetting to pick her up triggered that response.  I reminded her that I actually cared that this happened.  We live maybe 8 blocks away from this place.  I don't want her to go to two places.  It's one thing if you go to one place.  That's fine.  I just want this whole snap thing limbo over with and we have the money, thank goodness.  If I didn't have my debt, then we would be ok, but well here I am in credit card jail.  Sigh.  I hate this.

On the plus side, I don't need any car repairs.  Wasn't thrilled about paying $115 for an oil change and tires being rotated but I don't have to deal with this for another six months.  

Sigh.  I feared that this chaos would happen with this guy returning.  

We will get through it.  I hope the Republican party gets the shellacking they deserve in the mid terms.  Horrible people.

 I crashed before Reverend Raphael Warnock's speech.  The power of DVR saved me. I watched it this morning right up to the point where I had to sign in.  It was fantastic.   Hillary was great.  My mom was crying.  It meant a lot to her to have Hillary win that election and she was crushed. The Dark Things

I sometimes wonder about this when I'm in a brooding mood about how I got treated at a low time in my life.  Or lowest. Would people have been relieved if I just died?   Really.  I have thought the answer was yes.  I'm not talking about my family. I am talking about those who made their discomfort known to me.   They could have had some fake ceremony and a moment of silence.  There wouldn't have been a funeral so they could have forgotten about that part.  They would have excelled at pretending to care about my life if I wasn't here. Then, I had to go do something stupid and survive.  How do we deal with that?  My mentor even mentioned to me, well, you know, none of us have dealt with someone being sick.  Oh, should I get a fucking manual for that?  Excuse the F bomb but that was warranted. So Here's the Weekend

 I was having a wishful thinking moment last night when I was writing my postcards.  I was wishing for my imaginary friend that has shades of Stephen Colbert mixed in to show up and go for a walk on this humid July night.  We would talk and maybe check out the food trucks that were at the Farmer's Market last night.  Maybe they would be ok.  Maybe they wouldn't.  We would be getting out of the house and just talking about how our week went for both of us. Maybe we would stop at Pick n' Save and get my mom something she asked for.  He would always know how to talk to my mom and he would be someone she's really comfortable around like Charlie.  We would maybe see Charlie mowing the lawn on his usual Friday night task and talk to him.
