Half the Insanity

I thought of undoing my half day that I had scheduled and just work.  I think it's probably good I take a short break for the week since more people will be out towards the end.  Fine by me!  I think I'll be with the thinker and possibly the diva on Friday afternoon.  Fine by me.  I'm not doing any Tik Tok videos though.

I was just finishing up my bath last night when my mom decided to tell me the latest crisis of calling to activate her Kohl's card.  She got it activated but because of her sight, she hit a wrong button and it came p with a message she didn't understand.  I kind of hurried myself up when I could hear her spewing frustration and when I came out, things had resolved.  For some reason, my legs are angry with me this morning because I didn't put enough lotion on them.  Thanks, eczema.  I wish I could find the damn salve I have.  Maybe after the first of the year, I can get an appointment and get my prescription refilled.  I don't need it often but when I do it is a huge relief.  

My mom was telling me I should find another shirt to replace the one that came in.  I just kept telling her I'll look.  Please be patient.  She's also pressuring me to use her Kohls $5 off.  I don't think anyone understands how hard it is for me to find anything when it comes to clothes.  I hate shopping.  Period.  Wow. I never thought I'd get to that point in my life.  

I thought last night if I got moved to another group would it be better?  Probably not.  Women are mean in the workforce.  They don't help.  They step.  I'm at the point in my life where I'm not looking to advance.  I'm looking for stability and peace.  That seems to be a challenge.  I have to keep reminding myself that at least I don't have to go bowling with the diva.

Well it's not the workforce.  Women are just mean to each other.  I don't have a preference to hang out with the guys either.  I just prefer nice humans.

 I crashed before Reverend Raphael Warnock's speech.  The power of DVR saved me. I watched it this morning right up to the point where I had to sign in.  It was fantastic.   Hillary was great.  My mom was crying.  It meant a lot to her to have Hillary win that election and she was crushed. The Dark Things

I sometimes wonder about this when I'm in a brooding mood about how I got treated at a low time in my life.  Or lowest. Would people have been relieved if I just died?   Really.  I have thought the answer was yes.  I'm not talking about my family. I am talking about those who made their discomfort known to me.   They could have had some fake ceremony and a moment of silence.  There wouldn't have been a funeral so they could have forgotten about that part.  They would have excelled at pretending to care about my life if I wasn't here. Then, I had to go do something stupid and survive.  How do we deal with that?  My mentor even mentioned to me, well, you know, none of us have dealt with someone being sick.  Oh, should I get a fucking manual for that?  Excuse the F bomb but that was warranted. So Here's the Weekend

 I was having a wishful thinking moment last night when I was writing my postcards.  I was wishing for my imaginary friend that has shades of Stephen Colbert mixed in to show up and go for a walk on this humid July night.  We would talk and maybe check out the food trucks that were at the Farmer's Market last night.  Maybe they would be ok.  Maybe they wouldn't.  We would be getting out of the house and just talking about how our week went for both of us. Maybe we would stop at Pick n' Save and get my mom something she asked for.  He would always know how to talk to my mom and he would be someone she's really comfortable around like Charlie.  We would maybe see Charlie mowing the lawn on his usual Friday night task and talk to him.
