Driving Like an Old Lady

I got flipped off this afternoon and I have no idea why.  I was headed to Cermak on Miller Parkway and I heard someone blow the horn.  I saw a truck behind me and I told my mom, I think that horn was for me.  Why?  Because I stopped at a red light?  Was I not supposed to do it?  It seemed like once the light turned red, the truck was following too close to me and when I turned into the parking lot, I saw them drive past with the middle finger in their window.  I said out loud, They flipped me off.  Ok.  Why?

There's cars in front of me, am I supposed to magically fly over the cars and take this truck along with me? I was moving with traffic, and last time I checked, you're supposed to follow the rules when a red light turns.  I talked to my eye doctor about people driving and she does what I do.  If someone is tailing me, I pull over.  I am not going to be the target of your anger.  We watched a woman jump two lanes in front of me when I was moving through traffic on my way to Southridge.  I don't drive under the speed limit. At most, I'll go maybe 7 to 8 miles.  I only had a few tickets and that was a few too many and really not a fan of a higher insurance rate.  Go around me if you don't like it.  Want to pay my insurance premium then back off.

I remember the days of when Southridge was the place where it was all happening.  I'm surprised anyone is there now.  We got the pick up order.  Surprised they let the employees dress more casual.  Oh, how I would have loved that when I worked retail. I hated the panty hose.  Ripping nylons was such a pain in the ass and I couldn't go a week without ruining a pair.  The cashier looked like she had slippers on.  Nice.  I might have enjoyed selling shoes if I could have worn slippers.

I got a nice message from my niece and she showed me how Charlotte made a sticker out of her picture with Santa.  I think I need that little kid to help me trouble shoot some of my IT issues.  Maybe she can help me save an adobe document.

Yesterday seemed so long ago.  Frustration was a theme.  Tried to work my way through some of my problem stuff and I am hoping to get an answer on some.  It seemed like when I figured something out, then a new issue would pop up.  I am hoping I can make some ground next week.  The one who makes my eye twitch will be occupied with an event so I might have a little less stress? Not holding my breath.  I think with the holidays not that far away, people might be taking off more and not asking where something is.  I won't have time off until after the new year.  I finished my evaluation.  Will it work out well?  I guess I'll find out in another month or so.  There's never enough time to work on that.  Glad it's done.  At least I got one checkmark done.

Hoping I can just get my walk in tomorrow and just relax with trash TV.  I don't mean the orange goon.

I saw the AI picture of Chris Christie with fast food.  I might have laughed at it 10 years ago but today, I think, how childish and have you looked in a mirror lately?  Yeah.  Stay tuned.

Here's to a better night of sleep.
