Snowy Friday

I didn't think we were getting snow this morning. I noticed we were getting little flakes when I took the recycling out yesterday.  It doesn't look bad or anything.

Corinne had sent me a picture of a house that was being sold across the street from them.  She wished she could afford it so we could live there and she promised that they would be good landlords.  I told her that all of the reviews I've seen on places that they would be a step up a million times over.  That was a nice thought.  I said my mom would try to kidnap her two dogs and give them their separate bedrooms.  There's like 5 bedrooms. Even Precious could have her own bedroom.  It's like can you buy a place in St. Francis or Cudahy maybe?  We're not fancy folks, we don't mind.  Oh, nice thought.  That was kind of her to say. I appreciate her.  She did a lot for our spirits when her and her husband came last month. We really enjoyed them.

We watched Seth Meyers comedy special last night on Max.  I love comedians who don't go down the dirty route.  I like Amy Schumer but sometimes it's no, no, no, Amy.  I'm eating a sandwich.  Let's talk about bodily functions that way.  I remember laughing ridiculously at Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor back in the day and now that stuff is too much for me.  I found out that Fortune Femster has a special dropping soon on Netflix.  I like the comedians that can be funny without taking it to the gutter.  I even flipped on John Mulaney's last special because I know my mom falls asleep to him.  He is good and I wish he had his own show.

Hair cut time today.  I don't know if I'll want to walk through downtown.  I'll bring my change with me if it's too cold. I remind myself that yes, I walked in the cold to the bus stop waiting for the bus to take me to UW-Milwaukee in the mornings.  Or taking the bus to go to Boston Store.  I'm not a baby.  I can tough cold weather.

My poor little senior kitten has her leg hanging off of her perch, trying to stay warm.  I guess that means she has to have lonely momma smother with her kisses until she gets up and walks off.  She actually put her two feet on my leg last night.  She is not a lap cat, but she will head butt your leg, plot down beside you like she owns you and she does.

I hope the good humans have a good day.  Stay warm.
