Three Alarm Alexa

With time off, I didn't cancel my 5 o'clock alarm.  I thought I did, but I was reminded not once but three times I had off when I woke up and realized I'm on staycation time.  For some reason it went off at 5:30 am.  I have a mysterious relationship with technology but I was very happy at 5:30 when I realized I could have more time for sleep.  I don't care.  It's nice when you realize that hey, I don't have to get up at this time and go back to sleep.  I could do that all day, but I realize there's a point where I should get out of bed. I got a cat to remind me to do that.  

Looks like Mother Nature is going to screw with me today.  It's ok, I'm still hitting my 20K steps and I will today.

I'll be getting my hair cut tomorrow and I couldn't be happier. I should have done it in August really.  Pushing my hair constantly is getting annoying and I'm that type to go get a scrunchi or get a clip to tie it back.  I felt dumb putting a barrette in it because it only took on one side.  I don't mind my hair with a little bit of length, but not in my face, thank you.

I got my mail in ballots ready to mail today and I'm happy to do that.  I had to look up the referendum questions.  Honestly, I wouldn't know if I was doing this in person on how to vote. I might have left them blank.  I looked for stories on whether their questions were a good thing or a bad thing.  Some of the races in the past, I didn't know who people were so it helps me to look them up.  If I see a candidate in a bar with a bunch of motorcycle dudes, I'm thinking maybe they might not have my best interest in heart.  That's not all the criteria, but that's how I found out who was running against the mayor.  I wasn't going to vote for them, but I wondered who they were.  I found out! 

I got an alert that our systems were down at work.  Well that had to be a fun Monday for all.  It was almost a year ago, I sat there for 2 weeks, trying to figure out how to do work without having access to anything.  It gave me a creepy feeling when I saw that text alert.  Then I got an automated call that said everything was fine.  I sure hope so.  That really sucked.

I found that my sister had given me a pair of shoes I forgot to take out.  I figured they would fit and they do.  I'm good on the Kohls shopping. I only go once a year and thought maybe I'd take a look.  We'll do that in March when I get a few extra pennies in my piggy bank.  I only use my card once a year so they don't close my account.  I had paid off JCPenneys a few years ago, they have threatened to close my account a couple of times.  They cut my credit limit.  I paid off my debt, jerks.  Thanks for the credit score hit, you suck Penneys.  Most of my work wardrobe came from them for the longest time.  Some good things about buying from Amazon.

I sometimes wonder about this when I'm in a brooding mood about how I got treated at a low time in my life.  Or lowest. Too Peopley

I sat in a zoom meeting when my sound was out and I noticed one of the other assistants had a T-shirt on that said It's Too Peopley outside. I wanted to ask her where she got it.  Ironically I guessed correctly to one of her responses to the questionnaire we got that asked what do you hope to do someday and she answered retire.  I go off vibes at times and that one worked.  I understood how she felt because yeah.  I feel like that. I don't dislike people.  Crowds make me anxious.  I like hitting the stores first thing in the morning because I got room.  I got space.  I can look at stuff without people hitting me with their damn carts.  Anytime I've gone later in the day on a weekend to go do my walk, I wonder where did all these people come from?  There's something peaceful when it's not that many people around. Blue Evening

We took a drive to see a place in Bay View. I was kind of familiar with the address, but I wasn't sure. I found it.  It was not great. According to my Ring alerts, it's near an area with crime.  It was in our price range. I just can't seem to shake this funk I'm in.
