No Doze Friday

Despite the fact that I didn't sleep as much as I should, I feel ok.  I got three days to make up for last night.  We had one of the news shows on and when they talked about Judge Alito, I had enough.  Normally I write my postcards and letters while TV is on and I couldn't take it.  I had started to watch the documentary about Dan Rather a few nights ago and finished.  It was great.  I forgot that Andy Cohen had worked for CBS when he got his start.  He's had Dan on his show.  I wish Dan had a show on Netflix.

I am hoping my mom gets more sleep today.  She was letting the monster get the best of her last night.  There's some weird stuff going on at the moment.  Her car, or the car he took over is gone but when I got the mail, I could hear people talking, namely her.  I wish she made him disappear.  He hid his car a year ago and the cop that talked to us said that they were going to tow it if he didn't answer the door.  So how is she getting to work then?  Strange.  So very strange.  This could be a Dateline or Netflix series.

No wild plans for me naturally.  Maybe another visit to the East branch library tomorrow to figure out their checking out books or audio books online.  I will probably hit that hill at least twice this weekend with the extra day.  I think it's safe to say that my coloring book stash is growing a little bit.  I think I have about 4 or 5 books for Charlotte, mostly Mickey and Minnie Mouse.  I'm not sure what the kids like these days, but I know she loves cats since there's three in her household so I got her a kitty cat coloring book.  Will I look for another one at Dollar Tree?  These are the questions that I'll be debating this weekend while many people will be travelling, getting together and being sociable.  What coloring book should I get next?  Disney Princesses or a puppy coloring book?  Exciting stuff.

I am hoping that it is a quiet day that I can catch up on emails and make some progress.

Just feel really relieved this week to have another medical thing off my list, check mark and feel better about it.  I wish I felt better about the situation downstairs.  I heard all this hoopla about the DOJ suing what is it?  Ticketmaster?  Sigh.  Concert fees?  I agree, there's a lot of junk fees we pay for but I wish there was more focus on housing and less on being able to afford to go see Taylor Swift.  Is it like a $1000?  I was surprised when I found out that people paid $180 to see Pink when she was here awhile back.  I heard she puts on a great show but that goes to show how much I know. I figured maybe a $100.  Maybe if I wanted to sit in the parking lot and watch it, I guess.  I agree there's a lot of junk fees we pay for like on our cell phone bills and internet.  How about the cost of rent please?  And landlords?

I am going to make the best out of a three day weekend.

I hope all the good humans have a good day and get to enjoy the long weekend.
