Gaining Steam at the End of the Day

I could have kept going if I could but I signed off later than I should.  I had spent most of my week working with different groups and this was the first day that I could focus on what I'm assigned to and I had a lot of catch up.  And some frustration.

When I started over 20 years ago, I was surprised at people sitting around and talking.  I was shocked at how much time got wasted talking and it seemed like over time those days of taking your time ended and it was a reality shock for some.  I'm a worrier so I used to ask my attorney if there were tasks I could help him with and he would work with me to learn more.  Others aren't so receptive in being proactive and I'm finding out from another group that helped me kind of did the bare minimum.  Kind of made more work.

I felt kind of bad that I had the apathetic attitude when I got asked about something.  I wasn't sure why something was rejected and normally I would say I could make phone calls but I didn't.  Part of it was irritation because of some things that had transpired when I worked with this person's group.  The other part of it was I was just over extended and had ignored too many things.  I feel bad when I think, I could have done more.

Still not sure what's the deal with the monster's girlfriend's car disappearing.  She has kind of a strange look to her and I wonder if she is doing something.  She is like eating disorder skinny and I constantly find their fast food bags in recycling.  Idiots.  As long as they keep their thieving hands off of our stuff, I'm good.  When I checked the mail, Hillbilly Bob was parked on the porch pretending he was on a business call.

The weekend is here and we all get an extra day.  It was really cool when I got asked about my summer, I could actually say Yes, I do have plans.  I get to see my niece and nephew.  I get to see my great niece.  Kringle and Daisy.  My sister and brother in-law.  I get to see a baseball game. It may not be the most exciting summer, but I get to do something.  That's cool.
