A New Morning

 I did not wake up to the sounds of Stevie Wonder.  The Queen of Persnickety Litter Boxes got me a half hour earlier than I planned on waking up.  She's sleeping peacefully by the window, purring.   I'd rather it be her than my neighbor screaming obscenities.

I dislike the fact she spends so much time in the bathtub licking that stupid faucet and getting her head drenched.  It makes me mad that nothing will be done with the bathtub until after we leave.  I don't think it's the safest bathtub either. I used to love getting bath products like bath bombs but I hesitate with getting anything like that because it'll take a half hour to drain and I don't want anything I use to slow it down or be the cause of making it worse.  We'll use the plunger from Dollar Tree but the whole situation is a joke.  There's a broken window downstairs that hasn't been fixed but not problem.  That's the monster downstairs and his dogs.  Just surprised it didn't get fixed.  

We are going to drive around our old area in Bay View.  We kind of know we won't see signs.  I kind of know we can't move at this point.  I think for our sanity we should see.  There might be that random sign and that person that just want stable tenants.  It's become such a needle in a haystack.  I don't miss the neighborhood I lived in but it would be nice to be back on the southeast side of town.  Most of the doctors, with the exception of my own are either southeast or northeast.  It would just be nice to be back east east, doesn't matter where, just as long as it's safe and free of monsters.  

What's the plan for this morning?  ShopKick and post office.  Exciting stuff.  Also sending a thank  you to my friend Ethan for telling me about Washington Heights. I think my niece would like to spend some time with Charlotte in the area and less time with some of her relatives.  One of her aunts charged my sister money for a toy she gave Charlotte that wasn't really that great.  This aunt has all the bells and whistles in her home.  She's nuts in my opinion.  This aunt used to go to the same dentist I did and I hid behind a magazine when I saw her the last time.  This is probably why my nephew would prefer to watch game shows and hang out the two old ladies that are his aunt and grandma.  We are a wild bunch.

I hope the good humans have a good day and it's sunny wherever they live.  And I'm sure the bad humans will hang out at a Trump rally this weekend.  Less news for me this weekend.

 I crashed before Reverend Raphael Warnock's speech.  The power of DVR saved me. I watched it this morning right up to the point where I had to sign in.  It was fantastic.   Hillary was great.  My mom was crying.  It meant a lot to her to have Hillary win that election and she was crushed. The Dark Things

I sometimes wonder about this when I'm in a brooding mood about how I got treated at a low time in my life.  Or lowest. Would people have been relieved if I just died?   Really.  I have thought the answer was yes.  I'm not talking about my family. I am talking about those who made their discomfort known to me.   They could have had some fake ceremony and a moment of silence.  There wouldn't have been a funeral so they could have forgotten about that part.  They would have excelled at pretending to care about my life if I wasn't here. Then, I had to go do something stupid and survive.  How do we deal with that?  My mentor even mentioned to me, well, you know, none of us have dealt with someone being sick.  Oh, should I get a fucking manual for that?  Excuse the F bomb but that was warranted. So Here's the Weekend

 I was having a wishful thinking moment last night when I was writing my postcards.  I was wishing for my imaginary friend that has shades of Stephen Colbert mixed in to show up and go for a walk on this humid July night.  We would talk and maybe check out the food trucks that were at the Farmer's Market last night.  Maybe they would be ok.  Maybe they wouldn't.  We would be getting out of the house and just talking about how our week went for both of us. Maybe we would stop at Pick n' Save and get my mom something she asked for.  He would always know how to talk to my mom and he would be someone she's really comfortable around like Charlie.  We would maybe see Charlie mowing the lawn on his usual Friday night task and talk to him.
