On a Brighter Note

 It appears that the garage has less of the monster's stuff in it. I wasn't sure but when I took my mom to the store, she noticed that it seemed like there was less in there.  That's a good sign.  Both vehicles were home yesterday before I left around 8:30 and I thought, great.  Both home.  BOOO! When I came back, her car was gone and it seemed quiet for most of the day so we wondered if they were looking for a place.  It would be fantastic if they left this month.  I am hoping he doesn't dig his heels in but I think his girlfriend will be the reason they get out in a timely manner.  It looks bad for her too.  It's ok if it's next month but I think it would be a big win if we got some of our peace back with them leaving by next week.

I was hoping I'd get my tax information in the mail soon but I swear our mail person probably hates our place because the monster never shovels.  They don't have to deliver, I guess.  Great timing.  Thanks, monster, you jackass.  It doesn't help when he sits on the porch with the dogs and they go crazy when a blade of grass moves.  I know the dogs so I know they're ok.  Someone else might be apprehensive to even come near our place. 

Hopefully I can get this stupid mess with Citizens One taken care of this morning.  This is so stupid. I get security.  I get protecting information after I dealt with a shut down at work last year.  We asked the charges not to be put on her card after we realized that maybe we were buying from a retailer who wasn't honest.

It was something that would help save money on electricity.  My mom is worried because our bill is going to go up 12% and she looked up the reviews.  I had tried to order it and it came up with error messages.  That's how this all started.  My mom was upset with herself for trying to buy it.  This is what the monster has done to us.  We had air purifiers to help us with his weed smoking.  Seems like we're the ones paying more to deal with him. I told her we might see a difference once he leaves.  He's cost so much money that we don't have.  I just want him gone.  I was going to turn on the yard light when I had an Amazon package and I thought nope.  He'll take the light bulb out.  I don't want any problems.  Just go.  Leave us alone.  We had enough of you.

You would think living with him would have prepared us for our new world order.  Well I did four years with the guy who returned and I'm not a fan of sequels.  If you have an ounce of empathy, it's painful as hell to ignore what's happening.  My mom had the TV off most of the day and I watched a Kerry Washington show on Hulu for awhile.  I think we're saving electricity by keeping the TV off.  I had the TV off for most of the morning on Thursday.  Sometimes I don't mind the silence.  

I am getting a packet of postcards for the Wisconsin Supreme court election.  All I can do is encourage people to vote.  Anything else might get me arrested.  I would love to stand and protest with the guy that was protesting CBS 58 but I worry about what our new world would do to people who do that.  I have to figure out ways to be helpful and supportive without getting myself into trouble.  I'm for good trouble.  Not for a police record.

It's tough.  I hope the good humans have a good day.

 I crashed before Reverend Raphael Warnock's speech.  The power of DVR saved me. I watched it this morning right up to the point where I had to sign in.  It was fantastic.   Hillary was great.  My mom was crying.  It meant a lot to her to have Hillary win that election and she was crushed. The Dark Things

I sometimes wonder about this when I'm in a brooding mood about how I got treated at a low time in my life.  Or lowest. Would people have been relieved if I just died?   Really.  I have thought the answer was yes.  I'm not talking about my family. I am talking about those who made their discomfort known to me.   They could have had some fake ceremony and a moment of silence.  There wouldn't have been a funeral so they could have forgotten about that part.  They would have excelled at pretending to care about my life if I wasn't here. Then, I had to go do something stupid and survive.  How do we deal with that?  My mentor even mentioned to me, well, you know, none of us have dealt with someone being sick.  Oh, should I get a fucking manual for that?  Excuse the F bomb but that was warranted. So Here's the Weekend

 I was having a wishful thinking moment last night when I was writing my postcards.  I was wishing for my imaginary friend that has shades of Stephen Colbert mixed in to show up and go for a walk on this humid July night.  We would talk and maybe check out the food trucks that were at the Farmer's Market last night.  Maybe they would be ok.  Maybe they wouldn't.  We would be getting out of the house and just talking about how our week went for both of us. Maybe we would stop at Pick n' Save and get my mom something she asked for.  He would always know how to talk to my mom and he would be someone she's really comfortable around like Charlie.  We would maybe see Charlie mowing the lawn on his usual Friday night task and talk to him.
