Sleep In Tuesday

I really slept in this morning.  I got up around 6:30.  I don't remember my alarm going off at 5:00 am. I remember someone meowing in my face at 2:00 am.  And then at 4:30 am.  I don't remember Alexa.  Only Precious.  I would feel super off this morning if I had to get in a car and drive to an office.

I got Max or HBO Max for the next 6 months at 2.99. I think if I try to quit it after the six months, they'll offer me $4.99 for another 3 months. I'd like to keep it for awhile.  They do have CNN Max and I watched a little bit of it.  It's not the same anchors and I definitely don't intend to watch it like I used to but I did turn it for a few minutes this morning.  I may not feel like that after January 20.  If I do, I might be watching with one eye closed.  

I've been trying to clean up my clutter before I get inspected.  I told my mom about hiding some things like some of my hair care products and she laughed at me.  I have 2 Aveda styling products that are in the bathroom.  Seriously, we have been judged about what we have bought in the past.  One I got last year and bought for it with Afterpay.  I think the other product, I got even longer than that.  Even my sister and brother in-law hid their thrifting stuff when they were here and saw him because they worried our landlord would think that stuff was for us.  That's thrift store stuff.  They know how to get good deals.  He even looked at me like a fancy pants for getting a new car.  I had my last one for 17 years and after spending $3000 on that car before I finally gave it, it wasn't an impulsive choice.  It's not like I'm buying a new vehicle every 3 years and that was a lease.  I didn't even know if I'd get a loan for this car and a 6 year loan is kind of pathetic.  Considering the new vehicles that they had when they lived here, give me a break.  I really feel like we'll get looked at like you spend all this money on this and you can't afford $1500 rent?  No, we don't spend money like they think we do and no, the rent we get charged is a joke.  We got a bathtub that's part waterfall. A toilet that should be working better.  We have no outlets in the bathroom.  Yeah, I'll actually worry if he sees something that looks nice or might cost a few more pennies.  That's how paranoid he has about spending any money.  I got over a month before he does it and it may not be in the way that I think he'll inspect our place, I just want to keep certain things out of his view.  I suspect his wife might come along and she commented on how big our side closets were when she came upstairs to look at our place.  I'm not funding their clothing line.  I bought like one shirt in the last year that wasn't from Etsy.  Yes, I'm guilty of buying a couple of shirts before the election, but big deal. I got one pair of sneakers last year.  I hate that I even have to think about trying to have think about this stuff. 

I am feeling good that I got the $70 back in my checking account.  I never did get my credit score raised because of them.  I don't know why I did that.  I am surprised at the jump I made in credit score and hope the momentum keeps up.  

We do have a turkey for Thanksgiving.  We don't always have one because it's the two of us and it can be a lot but this year, we will have one.  We never did get the notification from JC Penneys that another pair of sweats is ready for pick up.  I guess it was supposed to be ready in 2 hours when she made the order last Saturday. I think we're past that. I used to get a lot of my work clothes from Penneys but it sucks.  It really has gone down hill.  I remember when Southridge Mall was such a thrill and now it's like do we have to go there?  I don't really like any mall.  I know people hated the Bayshore Mall opening up like it did but I'm ok with their set up.  Fresh air.  Away from germy people.  Not stuck in a mall.  I don't even get excited about going there.  If I am in that area, it's for Target or their post office which doesn't lose stuff like my neighborhood one.  Jerks.

I should get myself in my Fetterman office attire for the day.
